Hello everyone and welcome to the first edition of HizBiz in our Centenary year.

I must start my piece with an apology for this being the first 2007 edition – but people are apparently missing the presence of our local magazine, which aims to keep everyone up-to-date with what is going on – why has it not happened? Er…one or two other things have been keeping myself, our editor Bernard Lovewell and many of you, rather busy… Here’s a not-so-brief summary of the year so far…
